Pottery Earthenware Clay Bowl Purple Blue Lotus Flower on Green Serving / Clay Lick Creek Pottery

A calming turquoise blue and lavender purple colored lotus flower sets serenely on an olive green background on my red earthenware clay bowl. A bright spot of yellow hits the center of the flower. The colors are inspired by the colors of the 5th and 6th chakras.

The outside of the bowl has heart shaped leaves of dark green on a lighter green background.

Glazed using a non-toxic maiolica glaze - the bowl is food safe and can be put in the microwave for quick warm ups.

My hand thrown bowl measures approximately 6.75" x 3.25" (16.6 cm x 8.1 cm)

This is a favorite pattern for wedding and birthday gifts.

All pottery from Clay Lick Creek Pottery is handmade by me in Makanda, IL, using an electric wheel or a slab roller. I use a traditional red earthenware clay for my non-toxic Maiolica glazes. Bottoms are trimmed to create a foot ring and are signed and dated. Pieces can be used in the microwave for quick warm ups (unless noted) and top rack of the dishwasher (unless noted).
